Hi Amol
Hello if it is IBM server Make it as raid 5 configuration And Install OS Windows Server 2008 R2 And
Install MicroSoft SQL Server 2008 r2 Standard Edition and Increase the RAM to 20 GB or More Its Up to you .If you configure 20 GB it will take 14 to 16 GB RAM for the above specification AND Increase your Hard disk If you have More Data Bases AND Coming to LAN SPEED Must be 1mbps .
After Doing all the process now your system performance will be 80% better when compare to previous Configuration.
I hope this helps you
Regards
Jenny

For SAP Business One 8.82 PL05 and higher, perform the following steps to solve the problem:
Install SAP Business One 8.82 PL05.
Change registry entry, and add the IP address of the License Server computer.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ACE\TAO
For example: -ORBEndPoint iiop://10.59.39.60:30000 -ORBDottedDecimalAddresses 1
Use the IP address instead of the computer name for the License Server address wherever License Server address is needed, such as SAP Business One client, DI API, B1i, and so on.
For SAP Business One 8.82 PL04 and lower, you can use one of the following workarounds:
Disable additional network cards in the Network Connections. Also, make sure there is no dial-up interface or VPN interface set up, and restart the server. Note that you can re-enable the additional network card after the restart. This will resolve the issue until the next restart.
Check if there is an additional IP address assigned for single network cards (Start-->Run-->cmd-->ipconfig). If there is more than one IP address displayed, ensure there is only one address assigned.
Install the license server on a machine with a single network card.
Disable all network cards, restart the license server, and then enable the network cards again.
SAP intends to provide a patch or patches in order to solve the described problem.

hi
We installed SAP 8.81 patch 10, we are having leased line (Point to point connection) with 2mbps speed.
One end we have SAP server with 192.168.1.1 series and in other end client with 192.168.2.1 series.
We are facing the problem in client system i.e 192.168.2.1 series, while connecting add-on with domain user it is taking around 40 to 45 mins.
The same with connecting through work group users it is getting connected in 3 mins that's fine.
please give suggestion for this issue to solve

I think the speed should be 1 Mbps for per user
