Customer Exit Text Variable not working in Web Template

Hi Everyone,

I have created a couple of customer exit Text variables. Basically the user enters a range for a characteristic variable ( like 8 to 9), I concatenate those values and assign to my text variable for display purposes (8 - 9).

It works perfectly fine in BEx Analyser, but I have a web template that contain a chart and a table that basically display the data from this query.

The text variable is not getting its value when I run the template. Its just displaying as &techname&. I cannot understand why its doing when its working in the analyser.

Pls suggest.
