How can we make a copy of a transaction type?

Hi, All,

Good day!

May we request your help with the following?

There are cases wherein we would like to set up a fixed asset wherein depreciation area 01 has a value of zero and depreciation area 15 has a value greater than zero. While we know that it is possible to deactivate depreciation area 01 so it automatically has a value of zero, we do not think that this is the best solution, because we would have to do this every time we post. We have considered making a copy of the standard transaction type (e.g. 100 - external asset acquisition) and configuring that copy with OAYA to only update area 15. With this, may we ask if you know if it's possible to make a copy of a transaction type, and how we can do this?

Your feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Regards,
