The BPC 7.5 Operations Guide recommends turning off services that are not required to save memory and CPU. There are some services I was wary of turning off, for example, especially when Microsoft sites specifically state "do not disable this service" for Security Accounts Manager. This is not the entire list of services recommended to turn off, but can anyone offer any info on whether these services can be turned off, potential issues, or the amount of benefit to memory and CPU?
-Security Accounts Manager
-Distributed Transaction Coordinator
-Distributed Link Tracking Client
-Server
-System Event Notification
-TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service
-Windows Time
