Some CVCs cannot be processed in block XX

Hello Community,

I have following problem: I execute a macro which calculates key figure values in a planning book via batch job. Some of these batch jobs a part of a process chain. The steps of the process chain (where the macro calculation is executed) failed with following message:

Some CVCs cannot be processed in block 74.

Some CVCs cannot be processed in block 94.

Some CVCs cannot be processed in block 107.

..........

Corresponding message class of this messages is: /SAPAPO/SDP_PAR with message number 23.

Is anybody aware of such a problem? Can somebody help to solve it?

Thanks and kind regards

Heinz

Hi Heinz,

Looks like when you excute batch job in background, few of CVC's getting failed of entire lot.

Process Chain - Go to Logs - Double click on step in process chain [This is your batch job executed in background] - Tab Backg - click on Batch Monitor - Select Batch Job and click on Spool.

Check for reason in failed CVC's and rectify it accordingly.

Many a times CVC's locking is major issue of CVC failure.

Hope this helps you

Hi Heinz,

I also faced same issue but I find after analyzing that there is no error in CVC and jobs is executed fine for all combinations without error.

I ignored  these messages " cannot be processed in block XX"

Thanks

Hi Heinz,

Are you using any kind of planning background jobs?
Are you using any parallel processing profile?

Hello Suren,

parallel processing profile is not used.

Yes, I am using planning background jobs - as I said, it is a marco which calculates a key figure in the planning book and which is executed via background job.

Please reply again.

Kind regards

What can I do now?

Hi,

Please check the Log view of the Process, you would see that users would be having a Lock on some of the CVC that are getting processed.

Atleast that's what I had experienced.
