Contract work in cement industry

Hi All,

We are going to implement CO module in cement industry. Here they have processes like Quarrying, grinding, crushing etc. At the quarrying processe, they are giving contracts for blasting in the quarry also at the packing stage they are giving contract to out siders. How we include this cost to product?
Shall we consider this as an activity?

Thank you,

prima facie, it seems that it can be defined as an activity type

May be external processing operation can also be used depending on facts of the case... Your PP consultant should be the best judge

    Hi Rajesh,

First you create activity types for quarrying, grinding and crushing and maintain external routing operations for that activities or Maintain addtive cost through CK74N.

I hope this helps you and let me know if any queries.

    Regards,

    Puri
