Hi All,

I have nearly 4 years of experience in AS/400 - RPG & LANSA.  I have been working in Retail - SCM - Sales & distribution domain. Now I would like to move to SAP. will it be a good move? Kindly suggest me.

Its Very good move coming to SAP , you get good future in SAP SCM  you can work on couple of modules parallel in sap and for SCM or SD preparation our SCN.SAP.com  will help and help.sap.com is also there.

Will it be possible to get an opportunity in SAP SD. will companies consider my profile. I am really interested to work in SAP SD.

I have started learning SAP SD by following books & video tutorials. I feel easy to work in real time applications. Suggest me that do I require any institution or not.

you have a knowledge on SCM and SD domain so just go through SAP SD (But good practice most important bcz your coming from other technology ) if possible do the certification you can succeed ASAP in market(certification with experience your like a hot pizza in market ) and w/o certification also no problem but time will take.
