Installation Error while installing services of BODS in BO CMS

I am stuck on DS 4.0 installation. I am attaching the screenshot of the step on wich the installation of management console is stuck. Let me brief you with the steps I followed so far.

1. Firstly I installed DS Server on dedicated system for DS, by skipping the CMS configuration. Issue with this is that I am unable to login as it is giving a message of access denied, even though I am logging in as administrator.

2. Ignoring the login issue in Data Services Designer on DS server, I go ahead with the DS management Console which is to be installed on BO server. Here during installation while configuring CMS Server it keeps on asking to restart SIA but it never restarts nor does it goes ahead. And if I skip configuration the required check boxes for Management Console installation are disabled.

Please revert back asap. Awaiting your reply.

Hi Maheedar,

You are probably installing from a shared driver.

Hello Maheedhar

With out Registering the Data dervices repositories in the CMC you will not be able to access them.

You can use the existing BO Reporting CMC or you can install BO IPS and can register DS to this CMC.

What is the exact patch level that you are installing for BI and DS?
