SAP BPC 10 Controls

Dear Experts,

I am trying to create a simple validation rule - Assets = Liabilities using the new controls introduced in BPC NW 10.

I have three scenarios.

First : Validate this rule in LC for an entity.

Second : Validate this rule for GC(Group Currency) for an entity.

Third: Validate this rule for GC for Group.

(First and third are possible. I don't know how to acheive both first and second for the same entity).

In the Entity Dimension, there is a property called 'Ctrl_Currency_Not_LC' which specifies if the validation rule applies for Local currency or Group Currency.

So if this property value is 'N' for an Entity (say Entity01), the validation is applied for LC. And if it is 'Y', the rule is validated in Group Currency.

But if we have to check the data, before and after consolidation, i.e., both in LC and GC for a particular entity- How can we do this? What property value should be given for 'Ctrl_Currency_Not_LC' property for that entity. Or is there any other way of acheiving this?

If the question is not clear I can copy some screen shots.

Please help.

Thank you.
