Hello,
I was wondering if there is anyway to enable a feature similar to "Automatic recording of changes" in the portal so that you can be sure every change is transported or if each modified piece must be manually added to a transport package and you must keep track of every object you modify.
Also, when you add an object to a transport package is it similar to a pointer (or delta link, I suppose), where all the changes you make are updated in the transport package until you export it, or is it simply a copy that must be updated right before you export the package?
Thanks much,
~Mike
Well... no their isn't. But there is something called the Java Development Infrastructure (JDI) that is like a transport system for java applications, but it is in effect a level below the portal. it is mainly aimed at J2EE / Webdynpro development.
Not sure about the 2nd question, I think it will just take the latest version... but I'm not entirely sure.

Thanks a lot! Someone could just say no if that's the case.
