Newly created repositories throw no events

Hi, we created some new repositories and checked the "Send events" checkbox under "CM Repository". However, no events get fired in the global service that we created. Other existing repositories throw events just fine.

Are we missing some important configuration entry?

Please help.

By the way, of course we registered our EventReceiver with the repositories, too.
