IDOC Files getting created in the Wrong Directory

In WE21....

A File Port was created. In the Outbound File tab,

The Physical Directory is selected and /work/interfaces/EDI/out was given. For the Function Module.... 'EDI_PATH_CREATE_CLIENT_DOCNUM' is given. But I noticed that the IDOC Files are being created in the directory /work/interfaces/EDI ....instead of /work/interfaces/EDI/out. Can any guru tell me how can I fix this.

In the Outbound:Trigger tab , Automatic Start Possible is selected. RFC Destination is given as SERVER_EXEC.

Physical Directory is "/work/interfaces/EDI/" and command File is blank. I tried changinf this physical Dierctory to "/work/interfaces/EDI/out" but still the files are getting created in '/work/interfaces/EDI"
