Hi Gurus,

I am facing a problem in transporting the product category from ECC to SRM system. User says that there are many product categories they do not want to be displayed whle creating the shopping cart. Ex: there is a product category NYY0 that is being displayed at the time of SC creation. user does not want it in the list of product categories.

I deleted the product category in ECC system. Still that product category is being displayed while creating the SC. I do not want it to be displayed. I tried to check the forum for previous posts, but I was unable to find a proper solution. I checked this t code COMM_HIERARCHY. Kindly advice me how to proceed further.

Regards,

Karthik

Hi Karthik,

If your requirement is to only remove the product categories from being displayed in SRM SC, then please remove the same from Extended Attributes of the user in the org structure under PPOMA_BBP.

Hi Karthik,

COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_SINGLE / All is the program where you can delete the product category from SRM system. You need to maintain the registry in the table COMC_PR_TOOL_REG before deleting.

Also, if you remove the product category entirely from SRM that will not be available any more for other users as well.

I would suggest to controle the users via extended attributes only. System shouldn't show the product categories if they are removed from the extended attribuutes.

Plase check  is there an inheritance exist from root orgnization unit or maintained generic entry like " * ", in extendced attributes.
