can i get the data file from the cube

Hi All,

Previously I created and activated one cube using one data file, by mistake lost that data file. Is there any chance to get that data file from that Cube?

Hi Paul,

yes you can..

1) If you have loaded through PSA , Then goto that PSA table and from settings menu> change display variants-> view tab> view as Excel> then save this file

2) If you have not used PSA.then use LISTCUBE to view the data and change settings to excel and download..

Don't forget to assign points,If it is useful..

The processing type is not in PSA, what to do? If I follow your second step, in this cube there are formulas, so I think all the fields are not same as data file. Please

Hi Paul,

You can use Infospoke to retrieve data from cube to File..You mentioned that you are having fortmulas.Then you can do one morething but it is a bit lenghty process..You need to implement BADI in the infospoke so that you can decode formula here by writing reverse code...
