I have a doubt on this setting.
in OKTZ, say the component is raw material. when assign cost element interval, i need to enter the consumption account.
when do the product costing, the cost of raw material is getting from MM03 either standard/map and i believe this is kept in balance sheet account as it is inventory.
So why we need to maintain consumption account for raw material component in OKTZ. Of course I do know cost element is only PL account but I just do not understand what is the use of the GL account which defined here.
Any kind advice of what is the purpose of the GL account (cost element) here.
