Mass Delete of Old Versions in Information Broadcasting, Retaining Recent Ones

Is there any functionality that would let you keep only 5 or 10 previous versions and wipe out the rest in a mass operation? We do a lot of Information Broadcasting. We have literally thousands of old BEX reports that we don't need taking up space. However, we would like to retain the newer versions for reference. Right now, we are reduced to deleting the bigger ones manually, which is ridiculous. In a Unix environment, for example, you can set up patterns of retention by age. In a mainframe environment, you can also set up the number of generations you keep with a GDG base. I haven't found any way to do it on the KM versions in the portal. Did SAP really leave out something so obvious? Help!
