PCO Query Error :java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException:

Hi All ,

While trying to retrieve the configured TAG values using PCO Query  i am getting the following error

java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1 . but when i use simulated configuration Tags ,the values are displayed correctly .

Following Settings

1. Type : PCo Query
2. Mode :TagRetriveQuery
3. TagretriveDetails : Assigned Simulated and configured tags using Matrikon

Server Details

1. SAP MII 12.2 SP03
2. PCO 2.2  - Matrikon Agent is up and running
3. Matrikon server is up

Please advice me .

I still facing this issue . But am assuming the  reason could be data type of the tags . Since the configured tags have Default/Empty data type ( For example : Flow rate ) .

1. When i tried to change the data type to either char or INT .PCO 2.2 doesn't allow me to save the data and throws up the "framework error" for the agent instance

2. I changed the datatype in matrikon server.still the same issue .

3. Using PCO query i could display the simulated tags which has specific data type.not present in Subscription list in PCO2.2 agent instance .

I need your help in fixing this issue .

I am getting the following errors  when trying to retrieve the values using PCO query 

Mode: TagRetriveQuery

1. Retrieve for Tag Simulation Items/Bucket Brigade/String [Bucket Brigade.String] failed due to Quality Error, Expecting: Good, Received:Bad, Waiting for initial data, Not limited.

    2. NegativeArraySizeException

I am new to PCO so can someone tell me whats the logic being the PCO query processing  for displaying . Since NegativeArrarySizeException  is creating a negative arrary with negative size.

Do i need to do some settings in PCO or SAP MII  ?

As a last attempt I have disabled all notifications and restarted the Agent Instance and now it is working fine .
