Would like to know whether or not we can use xml as a datasource, and if yes, should we? Even though it could be technically feasible what is the best practice regarding xml files and if there are any considerations we need to watch out for?
We do have a BI 4 platform we are implementing and we use Universe Design Tool, but maybe we would consider information design Tool. Would they connect? Can we use in Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, and/or XCelsius? I know its possible to connect with XCelsius directly, however, for any of our solutions we need to consider 3 or 4 Tier cluster architecture and what is the potential for or against criteria when showing within our portal.
Any advice would be helpful.
