Have been pressed into service trying to introduce students to SAP. Got the Integrated Business Processes with ERP Systems 2012 textbook to work with. the exercises there are clearly based on the regular SAP GUI, but we'll be accessing GBI through the Net GUI and it displays differently. One of the first exercises has students learn to display the technical names to reveal transaction codes. Then it wants them to enter the transaction code in the text field that in the SAP GUI is above the "SAP Easy Access" title along with various function icons. In the Net GUI I'm not finding any such field to be able to enter anything--the Chico folks advised that all the same functionality is present and I just need to find it, but after rummaging around for quite some time, I have had no luck and can't really continue just rummaging. Is there a resource anywhere that compares the two GUIs --sort of a map of where functional elements are in one versus the other GUI? Or can anyone at least tell me where the text field to enter transaction codes is in the net GUI?
