how is trgt stk level calculated in snp

dear all

i have a product master with safety stock 100. that is well reflected in the plg book.

but the target stk level is also getting displayed the same as safety stock.

there are no demands or receipts.

i have attached the std macro file below , but not able to read it ....if any one of you could help me please.

Hi KK,

Target  stock level is calculated as per Target_CALC is a standard SNP function:

Where TARGET_CALC( 'product' ; 'location' ; 'version' ; target days’ supply ; target stock level ; offset (such as safety stock); key figure for planned demand ; key figure for number of workings days per period )

Which returns the target stock level referring to  the parameters saved in the location production master data. If these parameters require a manual entry for the target days' supply or the target stock level, enter a value , otherwise enter 0.
