balance sheet item in asset report

I run SAP asset history sheet for one asset, it shows balance sheet item 18 property,plant, but asset description and asset class description is totally different,

I want to know how this balance sheet item 18 is derived? is it derived from asset class?

It is derived from your financial statement version (FSV).

So the G/L reconciliation account is assigned to balance sheet item 18.

To check go to transaction OAYN and check which FSV is defined for asset reports in your company code.

Then go to the FSV (for example via FS00 -> Environment -> Edit FSV. Here you'll find the applicable G/L reconciliation account assigned to balance sheet item 18.

Hi,I'm asking why it is balance sheet item 18 for this asset (asset class Z002), why not balance sheet item 15 (machinery), why not balance sheet item 16 (computer).....?
