Hello Experts,
We create material master , sales quotation using AIF forms for particular projects/WBS in our WDA applications. (please see screen shot) These forms reference Project number/WBS number, any other cost object as reference to create such materials and sales quotes.
To create these materials, quotes a user need to open a project and then create material, during this Project number/WBS no. or its any dependent parent id is captured into AIF material form automatically.
I want to achieve creating materials, quotes using AIF through screen personas. The way I want it in screen personas is:
Project number : (this field should be entered by user)
Sub project number : (this field should be entered by user)
"Create Material" (it should be a button for user to redirect him to URL)
Kindly suggest how can I achieve that.
Best Regards
Saurabh
Thanks Tamas. I will go ahead with these inputs from you and come back here for any queries.
Really appreciate your helpful key pointers.
Thanks

Thank You very much Tamas. This is what I was looking for.
Really Appreciate it.
Just one more thing to ask , This link shows how to call AIF form and display data as per PERNR of employee. Can this form be editable also? Like I gave PERNR and input address details of employee and save it and data gets saved in background. Is that possible?
Best Regards
Saurabh

I think this would depend on the interactive form itself. It should probably be possible to run a form which takes the input, and feeds that back to the calling program which in turn could take care of the update. Your RFC from Personas should be able to perform this. Unfortunately I'm not sufficiently familiar with AIF to tell how to do it.
I don't think this should be a problem... there are some guides available showing how to do this. Here is one describing the process in a WDA application. You could adapt this to Personas and use your custom RFC performing the AIF call:

Hi,
Can I get any pointers on this please? Or should I close it in case of no response?
Thanks
