Alternative payments for two different positions

Hello SAP HCMer's,

We have a requirement like one employee can work for two different positions. but the primary position should be 100% and the employee will work for second position as and when required. Employee can book Time for primary position in IT2002 defaultly. But the question is how to book time for another position in IT2002?

I have done some config for "Alternative Payments" for these two positions in IT1005 using two different pay structures. but need to book time for the second position to trigger alternative payments in payroll. So could you please help me out on this please...

Thanks.

What is the purpose of booking time?

    1) Is it Attendance? Or is it Overtime?

    2) Do you want to track time spent in each position? Or does he get paid differently based on what position he is working in?

    3) If so how does the payment differ? Are those positions having different Pay Scales? Is there a premium assigned to the position?

    4) Do you have Time Evaluation, or do you only have Payroll?

By the way doing stuff in IT 1005 will have absolutely now effect on what you are trying to achieve. If you do have to use positions to achieve this you will have to do some config in the PA side of things in Table t528B, which is not a particularly good idea if you have OM-PA integration activated. Best is to avoid positions altogether and see what else you can use.

    Hello ,

If the employee is booking the timesheet in CAT2 ?

Make sure to check the IT27 and maintain the project percentages.

If the employee book two different projects means, he have a two different WBS elements ,

    WBS-1 Time sheet hours -5

    WBS-2 Time sheet hours - 3

    Regards

    Siva
