When to import exported user master data from SCC7 before or after BDLS

Hi there,

I am doing a system refresh from Production to quality system by back and restore. we have a requirement to retain uesers after we have done the copy. so I have exported the user master data using SCC8.

But I have a question here, at which stage do I need to import users back in quality system ( using SCC7) ? Is that after I run BDLS or before as I can see in some of the posts that SCC7 changes logical system names ..?

Please can anyone help with correct suggestions..

If you are importing user master in an existing client then SCC7 and BDLS are independent steps to each other.

It doesn't matter, there is no relation between the users and BDLS.
