APD's issue

Hi SAP experts,

When I am trying to simulate my query in the APD screen I am getting zero records where as when I am running the same query with same variant seelctions at the query monitor screen it was showing values. What could be the reason?. Even I have run the same in the Bex Analyzer as well. It was throwing same values as Query monitor does. Any inputs on this issue is greatly appreciated.

Well I have just moved few infoobjects to the default values hence started working. The display log in the display results will guide you what are all the objects to move.

To brief the second point, when you right click and display results in the query of the APD screen on top of the screen u can see the logs. Go thru those logs it will solve your problem. One more thing did you check the query in RSRT with the given variant?

Hi Harish,

BEx Query --> Routine --> Transformations--> DSO.

The problem is intially with the query itself. Unless a query have values we cannot move data into DSO. The Query itslef not showing any records when I simulate it. Hope this helps you.

yes, I can see data in the Infoprovider, Query monitor and Bex Anlyzer for same variant selecetions.

Strangely still the values are not displaying.

I am not getting you How the DSO comes in the middle.

I am talking about the first step Bex query. The Bex query is built upon the MP. The Bex query is absolutely fine. In the APD unless you have some data in the Bex query the query will display as 0 records when you simulate. But in my case the Query have some records displaying at Query monitor and Bex Anlyzer and target. But when it comes to simulating the Bex query in the APD screen

it is not displaying anything.

By simulating, you mean to say that you have computed the intermediate results of the query your APD.

Simulating is nothing but displaying the values of your query output based upon the selections maintained in the variant.

Ok, can you see the intermediate result of your APD by right clicking the query and calculate intermediate results.

No, by Display data..hence it will display the whole data based upon the variant selections. Also, I am not able to seee the intermediate values as well.
