destination control failed when using PDK tutorial

In .Net PDK Tutorial 8 it stated:

From Server Explorer, select a valid destination and drag it onto the portal component. The PortalDestination1 component will be added.

Set the Connection property of the SAPProxy1 component to ...from PortalDestination1.

But when I deployed this iView to an EP, it seems that this destination value is not persist. Also, I got the following error

User not authorized. Session terminated

Any idea how I can get this to work?
