Duplication between multiple comparative % formulas with common time with offset

I am working on a 7.0 query containing comparative % s between several years :

- Current Year +2 vs Current Year +1

- Current Year +1 vs Current Year

- Current Year vs Current Year -1

Each formula consists of 1 key figure, restricted by a User Exit Input Variable (Current Year) with offset, so a typical formula looks like :

Key Figure A (Current Year +2) / Key Figure A (Current Year +1) %A 1

Key Figure A (Current Year +1) / Key Figure A (Current Year) %A 1

Key Figure A (Current Year) / Key Figure A (Current Year -1) %A 1

What I’ve encountered is that maintenance of the offset for one formula is “inherited” by one of the other formulas, creating a duplicate formula.

My understanding is that each of these formulas should be independent of the others. I’ve tried to perform the maintenance several ways, saving at different points to commit the change – without success.

Can anyone explain what is happening, and more importantly, how to avoid the duplication ?

Thanks ! Any insight appreciated.
