We would like to run MRP for each storage location and generate separate Purchase Requisitions without using/activating MRP Area. I know that I can do this by setting up the MRP indicator in the MRP4 view. If I do that, it will run MRP per storage location but then it only will compare the stocks of the storage location versus the Reorder point and will create a PReq if the stock is low and the quantity that will be recommended in the PReq is the Replenishment quantity I specified in the MRP4 view which means that it is always fixed. Our requirement is for MRP to calculate the net requirements per storage location and not a fixed qty defined in the MRP4 view.
We procure our materials externally and the 2 storage locations are physicall locations beside each other with different address but we do not want to create 2 plants.
Is there a way this can be done thru config or set up or workaround?
If not, can this be handled thru development and how do we do that (like the user exits or BADIs(, etc.?
