Hi Srinivas,

1)    You need to use TM01 or FRT_CREATE to create FD singly and thru fast entry thru fast entry mode thru TM0F. You can edit the FD thru TM02 or thru FTR_EDIT. At this stage, the system do not allow posting and this is akin to blocking, you can see the lock icon in the tab ‘Cash Flow’. You can collectively edit thru FTR_00/TM00/TM20.

2)    Once the FD is created with all relevant details, you can do the back office activities like sending confirmation and receiving confirmation thru correspondence(optional). Once this is over, you can settle the FD thru FRT_EDIT by clicking one of the buttons. Only after this settlement, the system allow the posting. Hence, this settlement is like entering into a contract with the bank and this activity is akin to release. You can see unlocked lock icons under the tab ‘Cash flow’.

3)    Then, you can post the payment to the bank thru TBB1.

4)    Upon maturity, you can post the interest and return of principal amount thru TBB1. If you want to roll over or renew the FD, you can press the relevant button in FTR_EDIT with necessary selection against ‘Rollover with’ from the drop down menu whether the interest is to be paid or to be deferred or to be capitalized.

Hope this is helpful to start with and let us know whether you need further inputs.
