article picture

Hello everyone,

I would like to know, how to add an article picture to the article master data (view: basic data).

Hi Parastou,

You can find the settings to add an image to an article in the following customizing path:

SPRO > Logistics - General > Material Master > Retail-Specific Settings > Settings for Image Data Display

        You may refer to the below SCN thread for detailed steps as far as MM42 is concerned

Also please ensure you have the images in either JPG/BMP/GIF format.

I think an additional screen need to be configured.

Hiiii,Parastou.

In addition, you need to add the right screen in your screen sequence.

Go to OMT3 and look for the fashion screen sequence. Here the picture subscreens are available.

in ECC 6.0 standard screen seqeucne, this is not included.

Using TCODE: MM42

Enter the Article Number and select the Basic Data View

Press Enter

Click on Display Screen Button

Another window would open. Right click within the window

Select "Load New Data"

Upload the image

Click on Enter

Save

U could upload multiple pictures. You can click on Display Series. This Window shows all the pics. The first one happens to be default pictures.

Please try this, hope u r using SAP Supplied standard article types.

Hi nikhil,

I had viewed thru OMT3 under "33 Retail Fashion Tab Pages" but not able to find any screen with the "DISPLAY" screen button.

Can you direct me to that screen setting?

I am using "23 Std retail: tab pages" at the moment.
