error while implementing manual steps of notw 1517201

Hello,

I am trying to implement the note 1517201, according to the manual steps i have created the table T007L_IT.

I am trying to create the maintainance view and assign it to function group FI_IT.

This function group did not exist in my system so created it manually and tried to assign but i get an error message saying

'You are chaning a function group that does not belong to you'.

Could you please help?

You dont have to create a different function group and assign.

While creating the maintainance view, just give the name, the function group will be automatically created.

Then once go to that function group and change it through the option available in the table maintainance option available in the toolbar.

Since this is a SAP object can we change the responsible person in se80? is this correct way to do it?

No, I'm sorry but didn't notice that was a standard table.

SAP note says for you to create a maintenance view?

yes in the manual steps of sap note 1517201 we have to create a table and then a maintenance view.

For a SAP function group, give "SAP" as Person Responsible and Origin System, and assign a SAP Package (the same than the database table)
