Hello Experts,

Kindly refer the below screenshot for the error coming while opening ESR and ID for Development box in Internet Explorer 9 and OS is Windows 7.

Java Version used is jdk-7u9-windows-i586

At the same time when I am trying to open ESR and ID of QA or other environments in IE it is opening properly and using mozilla firefox ESR and ID for all env like development,QA are opening.

I have tried uninstalling Java version and tried with other Java versions J2SE 5.0,6 etc didnot work properly.

Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Santanu,

I faced the same issue, and the reason was that the JAVA 7 . Becasue JAVA 7 is not supported for the XI/PI.

Please check your version.

Thank you.

Dear Shantanu

Are you using jre 7? This i feel is not supported?

What is your PI version?

Also can you try this:

From Control Panel, go to Java -> General tab, Temporary Internet Files

-> View... -> Delete all the content there.

Then go to:

> Integration buider page http://<host>:<port>/rep

> Administration

> Tab - Directory (Repository as well)

> Java Web Start Administration

> Restore Archives and Generate New Signature

Hi santanu,

try to remove jdk7 and use jre1.6.21 and run now.

if not coming to PI home page-> Administration--> Java webstart administration>select ESR > start jnlp.

similarly for ID as well.

try removing temporary files in Control panel->java-->temp files...

Dear Santanu

Also, please notice that both IE9 and JRE7 are not officially supported

by SAP on XI7.0, according to the Product Availability Matrix.

Dear santanu,

I assume that  there is problem with jre version .

Install jre1.6.21 in your machine and then try to run  .

And restart the java stack after installation .

Try to contact with basis team  .

thanks and regards,

Anup Banerjee
