Are you working with an HCM Forms workflow? It would help if you show us where you get the value of the AddressString value. As far as I recall, there is a rule that returns a list of HCM administrators.

Hi Usuario,

You should check to ensure that you have real valid user data or email addresses to send to.  Are you binding in the result from a previous step?  Using an Org Object?

You should drill into the technical log, and display the contents of the container for the SENDTASKDESCRIPTION.

Hi Susan,

Display the contents of the container:

Hi Usuario,

As the container clearly shows, there are no values for <RECIPIENTS> or for <ADDRESSSTRINGS>.  You should look at how you are supposed to be getting the email recipients and why that is not being filled.

Hi,

The problem is with your agent determination because of which there are no (or no valid) recipients..

Suggest you check the agent determination of your workflow and if using a Rule then simulate it and see what values it is giving back.

Hello,

Go to PFTC_DIS and see how that step has been defined. You specify the recipients when you define the step. It probably uses a container element like &RECIPIENTS&. Then check how that container element gets a value.

I also recommend you do a workflow course or at least read this book:

www.workflowbook.com

You seem to be missing some of the basic knowledge.

Hi Rick,

I know I'm no expert on the subject, I have reviewed many things concerning but not exactly what is needed, why ask the how? always looking for a better of you if they are experts.

Thanks for the book reference.

As I showed you before, the error changes to activate the profile scan.

Hello,

Go to PFTC_DIS. Go to the workflow builder. Go to the Mail step. Look in the Mail tab.

What do you have there under 'Recipients'?

Hello,

Look in the workflow log, in the workflow container. I assume &ADMINISTRATORS& does not have a value?

There is a step which should give it a value (Determinar administradores...) . Check where it gets the value from. That's where the problem is.

Hi Rick,

The function that searches the mail data works, but not because it generates the error.

No work

Working email

hola,

From the screen shots, it is obvious that "AddressStings" is empty for the task SendTaskDescription.  This contains the recipient's email address and it is necessary, otherwise there will be error condition.  I suggest that enter your own email adresss as a binding of fixed value like 'usario hcm@gmail.com', so that the workflow can go through all the next steps.  This should allow to to run through the entire workflow scenario.  Then go back to fix the AddressString determination later.

I repeat:

There is a step which should give it a value (Determinar administradores...) . Check where it gets the value from. That's where the problem is.

Hi Rick,

The task TS...10 and TS...13 are standard.

Task TS...13 generates error.

TS...10:

Event binding

Metodo:

TS...13 event binding is none.

Hi Rick,

Error: load file text.

When you activate the profile, it conflicts with another profile.

Hello,

That is not event binding, that is method binding.

You're passing ADDRESSSTRINGS to ADDRESSSTRINGS. But ADDRESSSTRINGS is empty.

That's the problem.

How does ADDRESSSTRINGS get its value.

I repeat (for the third and last time):

There is a step which should give it a value (Determinar administradores...) . Check where it gets the value from. That's where the problem is.
