Transport Profile Parameter

Hi folks,

I need to add the generation=false parameter in the transport profile and my question is whether I need to restart the system or not to activate it?

Does anyone know that?

System restart is not required. You need to just activate and adjust the configuration.

Addition of transport related parameter will not need any restart of SAP system

Please see below points what comes to my mid for this

1. This need to be added on domain controller

2. please check you use global or local parameter change

3. Good practice to do changes with SAP level

4. distribute and activate the configuration changes
