Hi Choong,

Where do you place your .ipa file on the server?

Try placing it directly in the root of the C:\-drive and change the permissions of the file to full_control (or something else) for the group Everyone (or for your logged in user) and try again.

This worked in our system.

Kind Regards,

BTW, here is a document for instructions on Custom Afaria application. Page # 11 describes the delivery methods. Which one you are using?

Hi Shival,

Thanks for your reply. The afaria version been created is 6.60.6057.0 and currently we are using iPhoneConfigurationUtility to distribute the custom afaria client to the iOS devices. So that we would like to upload the custom afaria client to the SSP. Please help.

Hi Choong,

Did you try deploying the Afaria custom client using Afaria Enterprise Application Deployment? From the document above, did you check page 14, instruction # 3?

When the device user opens the app-store Afaria app, it will prompt the user to confirm installation of the custom-signed Afaria app if it was flagged as "required" in the policy. Otherwise, the device user must navigate to the Apps tab and click the enterprise application link to open the end-user self-service portal, and install the application from there.

Hi Choong,

Is your SSP on a separate server than your Afaria and Package Servers?

Hi Choong,

Please check your enrollment code settings. It should point to the one used in SSP.

Hi Choong,

I guess you haven't did this:

Re-run the EUSSP setup for all End-User Self Service portals that use the custom Afaria app and specify the new custom application during the installation setup to update EUSSP for future enrollments.

or it could be problem with appID/provisioningprofile and MDM.

HI Abhishek Joshi

Thanks you for reply. I have only 1 EUSSP portal and I did re-run the afaria installation setup for update the EUSSP setting, But I still not manage to proceed when I browse the custom application.

May I know how and what should i check with the appID/provisionprofile and MDM? Appreciate if you can provide any step.

Thank you.

Hi Choong,

This error could come because one of the following issues.

BundleID

BundleName

BundleDisplayName

Most likely conclusion is that problem exists with that ipa; has he tried another
(perhaps the appStore version)?

Difficult to diagnose without further info. Or the offending ipa file.

OR please check that you are not getting issues during copying this .ipa file to SSP directory due NT permissions denied.
