Hello everyone

I have a problem on customer side. I configured incident management and an employee has the standard SAP Role SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE_COMP to create messages as a incident reporter. Problem:

When the employee uses SM_WORKCENTER there is the tab incident management but he is not able to create a message because the message button on the left handside is missing.

Has anybody had a similar problem? Where can I control the menu buttons on the left handside in the workcenter? I want to have in incident management message, queries....

Hello  Miriam,

Run PFCG tcode put your Z-role asigned to user, go to users tab and click the button user comparsion.

It should be done if you asign transaction code or change something in the role than you should run comparsion. More info:

When I right click I only can display the tabs Inc. Man and the 3 others.

Hello Miriam,

I suggest to copy this SAP composite role SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE_COMP to ZSAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE_COMP generate the profile assign to user WEBER_TEST adn run user comparsion for the Z role.

That does not help. I think it is a matter of work center config. I started the Badi User Interface. But that wasn't working either.

Please run SM_workcenter tcode and change the url as follows:

http://hostname:80portNO/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ags_workcenter?sap-config-mode=X

click right button on incident management

and then you will see  edit mode:

By the way after yuo have add mentioned roles you didn`t see left menu ?

Please assign to your user  following roles(copy them to Z space and generate!):

SAP_SMWORK_INCIDENT_MAN

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_INCIDENT

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC
