Work Order user Interface

Hello,

I wanted to know the possibilities of integrating SAP PM work order creation with separate User interface,

For example using SAP EP for creating work order...

Want to understand the scenario in little detail .. or what process should be followed to do the same.

Please share your experience.

Hi Himashu ,

There can be a number of scenarios where SAP PM order is created from other interface .

For example in case of service industry (like gas distribution ) if the end customer call at call centr and assume reported some leakage in the pipe or request immediate service . Then in this case a work order at the back end can be created where user logs complaint in some third party software online or by using SAP portal .

You can use BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN (see TCode SE37) to cerate and change orders via an interface.
