Tolerance limit in production order for excess delivery

Hi,

How to keep tolerance limit for over delivery in production order? currently we are keeping unlimited over delivery in order ,we need to restrict to some % to the order quantity,ie,2% can be produced more than the planned order.How can we do it in PO?

1. ) To maintain the Under-Delivery & Over-Delivery in PO you can use the Purchase value key in the Purchasing View of the material master.

To configure the purchase value key: - You can have different purchasing value keys which has to be customized in

IMG - MM - Purchasing - MM - Define Purchasing Value Keys / OME1 T.Code

2.)  To Maintain the Over-Delivery Tolerance in Production Order, you can use the Over Delivery in the Work Scheduling view of the material master.

Hi,

If we are setting in work scheduling view,where it will affect ,either in confirmation or goods receipt? i need to block the over delivery at confirmation level not in GR...when i tried with this setting,system allows even the confirmation quantity is more than the over quantity but in Goods Recipt it allows as per  the rule only...how to set in at confirmation instead of in GR?

For confirmation to go by tolerances (maintained in work scheduling tab) you need to set the error in OPK4.

Hi Vijesh,

Set in opk4 config setting as error for over delivery where over delivery tolerance is zero.

And also use user exit CONFPP05 to check the posting date, do not save the confirmation if the logic holds good

Also you can check the yeild quantity in this exit.

In material master >> work scheduling view for header material maintain over delivery tolerance. This same gets copied over to production order >> goods receipt tab (which you can manually change if needed). Uncheck unlimited over delivery.

Also in OPK4 make Overdelivery =  Error when overdelivery tollerance is exceed.

Incase any of the above settings giving warning instead of error, not down the message number go to OPJB or OMCQ and change the message type to E.

we tried with the unlimited over delivery in work scheduling view and the over delivery is not possible if we are not checking the same in work scheduling view..but we need to keep some % for the over delivery..where can i set % for the tolerance ? is it possible ?

Yes, you can maintain the over delivery tolerance % in work scheduling view.

As replied by Mr. Jeevan u can set over delivery tolerance in MM-> Work scheduling view.

If u activate check box unlimited then u can do excess tolerance also.
