Reporting on MultiProvider

Hi All,

I have a Multiprovider that i need to report on but its inactive how does it effect in reporting? i am working on the development system.

Hi Shetty,

Does the Multiprovider look inactive in the RSA1 screen ? The reports will still be able to execute in this case: Multiprovider has been created and activated, reports have been created, multiprovider was changed and not activated...still the reports get results.

yes the multiprovider appears inactive in RSA1, i am not sure if it has all the dimensions in the report?

The multiprovider can get deactivated by a change to the base cubes...this chnage may or may not affect the multiprovider and the data it fetches for the query. If you double click the multiprovider to go to the edit screen, you might be able to see Version: Active and ObjStatus: Inactive.

Hi,

you need to activate the multiprovider first before you can do any reporting on it.

i am able to report on it but i am not sure if i am getting all the dimensions in the report
