Error in system ESAPECCXXX while copying the document : unknow Knowledge base

Hi Experts

I am creating sales order (BUS2000115), with configurable product from ISA in 7.1 EHP2 and after saving the order while replicating to ECC , getting below error.

Error in system ESAPF08400 while copying the document

Message no. CRM_ORDER_MISC 020

Diagnosis

Errors occurred while transferring the document into another system. To view the error messages, see the enclosed log.

Transmission log

  • SALES_HEADER_IN has been processed successfully (Notification S V4 233)
  • Unknown knowledge base (Notification A CUX1 017)
  • Error in SALES_ITEM_IN 000100 (Notification E V4 248)

Please note ,

1) Correct and same KB versions available in CRM and ECC

2) No other error on business document

Please suggest the way to resole the issue/

1) Is there any specific setup we have to do for using the configurable product in CRM ?

2) Any document/link related to it , please share!

    Hi Abhay,

    It looks like your configurable product is missing a knowledge base.

    You will need to create a knowledge base and then a runtime version for your material in ECC.

    In ECC, go to Logistics, central functions and then Variant Configuration and you will see the menu for the knowledge base and runtime version.

    Once they are maintained, ensure that you have downloaded all the business objects that are relevant.

    Class

    Attribute

    Object

    Material

    Sce

    Once this is done, check the tab configuration for your product in CRM. You should see an entry for each runtime version that you have created.

    Once this is done, recheck or create your order and proceed.

      Thanks for your efforts.

      I have crosschecked as suggested by you and I could see the Knowledge base and RTV versions in CRM system same as in ECC.

      At table level also in CRM and ECC I have checked that the exact knowledge base is available. I could see it in tab configuration for product in CRM.

      Actually issue is coming while replicating the document to ECC .
