Length of a Field in DataBase

hi

  I have created a UDT table with no object . It has created 2 fields Code & Name . Datatype of Code is nvarchar(8) , i want to change it to nvarchar(3) . I am trying but it is not allowing

Again, the answer is the same. NO you cannot do that.

  That was DataType , i thought at least length can be changed.
