Hello, I am making some marketing document layouts using Print Layout Designer. I need to show the total in words so I use a total field and tick the check box "sum in words". It works fine but the customer has an extra request to show the sum in all upper case. (eg: FIFTY THOUSAND FIFTY ONE instead of Fifty thousand fifty one). Is there any way I can accomplish this in SBO?
Best regards.
alan.
Hi Alan,
A simple solution is to follow Kennedy's suggestion. Under format tab of PLD field property, check available font names that are all in capitals. 4 fonts listed by Kennedy are some examples.
Thanks,
Gordon

Hi all,
Thanks for your help! I will use a all upper case font as a workaround.

Hi,
I think, you cannot play with the font. It will not workout. I tried the same.
You need to change the capital font in your " Sum in words " SP itself.
For example, change Ten to TEN, Thousand to THOUSAND .
Try this in your test DB first.

Hi Alan Chan....
Try this, Its working.
Normal PLD Result
->> Open your PLD. Create 1 Formula Field and put Document Total Field_ID, then assign Sum in Words.
Result - One Thousand Three Hundred and Forty Indian Rupee
Assign Capital
->>Open your PLD. Create 1 Formula Field and put Document Total Field_ID, then assign Sum in Words, then Assign Font.
Ex.
->> Properties Area Window ->> Format -> Font
Select Capital Font -
1. Engravers MT,
2. Felix Titling.
3. Perpetua Titling MT.
4. Showcard Gothic.
Hope Helpful
