Custom Fields for CHARM using AET - error

i have created custom field for component 'AIC_CMCR_H' using AET.

i followed standard AET steps to create the custom field. i didn't encounter any error and the object was succussfully generated.

i then included the field on the webUI screen but the field is grayed out.

Please refer to the attachment to see all the steps performed. Please advice how do i proceed from here to make the custom field editable or usuable in CHARM.

Hi

you are almost there.

just select your field in AET and click on 'Show field properties'; then you will see on the right panel a checkbox if i remeber well where you are supposed to say that the field is editable

Hi Khalil - thanks for responding. unfortunately it doesn't help. i failed to mention, i had already verified and that the field property reflects the custom field is NOT in display mode.

i have a message open with SAP but haven't made any break through yet.
