Charts in BI LaunchPad

Hello BusinessObjects,

when opening a report with a chart in BI Launchpad we get a red cross with the text "An error occurred during Chart generation the chart cannot be displayed"

Its only with charts created in Web Intelligence and when creating reports on the Launchpad with charts.

Tables are ok and show the right result.  Only Charts do not display.

I found the note: 1634428 - Error"An error occurred during Chart generation the chart cannot be displayed", while opening the report with Chart in BI 4.0

but it doesn't seem to make a difference...nor does anything else i have found VIA google

this is a new system  SBOP_4.0 SP4 and my knowledge in BusinessObjects is nothing.

in BI4, charts engine is inside APS by default.

Please take a look at APS best practices doc here http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-31711, it should help you understand how to split your APS and create dedicated charting APS.
