How to extend the drop down box of the Task priorities?

Hello,

When creating new Task there are three priorities to choose from: Low, Normal, High.

Is it possible to extend this drop-down box to more priorities and configure how the portal will handle each priority (existing ones and newly created ones, if possible)?
