TableColumn Design in SP9

Hi!

I want to change the backgroundcolor of several columns in a table.

My table is set to readonly, design standard.

I tried to change the design of 2 or 3 columns but it doesn't work. (I tried to change directly the design, then by creating context value and binding them to the design property, and then by implementing in Java in the wdDoModifyView.

My version is SP9. Do you know if it is possible in SP9 to change the tableColumn design or the cellEditor design.

Eventually, is it better in SP12?
