Triggering workflow automatically

Hi All

I m trying to automate the workflow.

when ever any content is uploaded in to the folder that is configured for the workflow ,we got to manualy submit for approval.

I donot want to do this step, instead when i upload, the submit for the approval should get triggered automatically.

Can any one let me know how it can achived, either through configuration or coding.
