Unable to save the quotation after solving incompletion log errors.

Hi All,

When I create a quotation(QT), with "Inquiry"(IN) as reference, I get the following incompletion log error:

1) Missing Plant

2) Missing Shipping Point

I provided the missing plant ,shipping point and storage location which is correctly assigned to each other as well as to the sales organization.

But I'm unable to save the document, since I get an error for "Sales area 5100, 00, 00" , I'm not too sure how to resolve this as the sales organization given by me is IN01, DC- 23 and Div- 84.

Please provide me pointers.

Hi,

Please check You Sales Area of Quotation and also Enquiry of Sales Area .These two of Sales Area should be Same,that's why system is showing like that way.

Side Comment : I am sure ,the Sales area may be Vary between Quotaion and Enquiry.

The sales area in the inquiry and the quotation is the same. Still I get the same error message "Sales area 5100 01 01" is not defined.Message No. V1316.

Please check Assisgnemnts in IMG level.

Side Comment :Can you tell me , For What this Sales area you have maintained as "Sales area 5100 0101" .

Please check that error and see info in that Error.

Hi,

The sales area maintained by me is IN01, 23, 84. With the address in India. However the plant is taken as SG01 (Singapore).

I also see in my system that 5100 01 01 is not maintained by me..however the sales area refers to a location in Singapore.

And all the more, is the error due to providing incorrect reference sales organization, reference DC and reference Div? I'm not sure what needs to be references when we are trying to use the codes OVAM, OVAN, OVAO.

However the plant is taken as SG01 (Singapore).

Check in OX10 for that plant, what country is assigned.  Next check in customer master what delivering plant is assigned and ensure no change is made for plant which you can verify via XD04.  Finally, check in OVX6, OX18 & OVXC.  Some where some basic setting is missing and hence this issue.

please check the assignment of Sale Document type with Sales Area.

SPRO>Basic Functions>Sales>Sales Document Header>Assign Sales area to Sales Document type.

Hi Narendra,

Yes. I did. Had assigned sales document QT to this sales area. However still the error persists for a sales organization which is not relevant at all. I'm not too sure from where SAP is different sales area.
