Hi All,

In my ipad i have created a connection to my BO server manually and i am able to login into the Server.

Whereas in my lauch pad i can easily access the reports from my recent document or by drilling inside the folder.

But this is not case with SAP BO mobile, All i can see is only blank page and some search option.

Even if i type name of any WID or crystal report document name, in the search box, the document is not getting visible.

Am i missing something?

Hi,

Did you create a category called Mobile in CMC?

Only documents available under that category will be visible on ipad for download.

Which version of ipad are you using? what is the application version?

Try to create a category as mentioend above and check the issue

also, there are some guides for your reference, available at help.sap.com

kindly go through the same

Even i am facing a very similar issue post upgrade of the app from an earlier version (4.2.x) to the latest app (4.3.3.21). I am running the app on iPad 2, connecting to a BI platform (4.0 SP02 patch 16).

With the earlier version of the app, i was able to view the reports on iPad. But after upgrading the app, i am not able to see any documents. I am just seeing the search screen with the text "No documents available" below it. The Mobile category is also available and reports are assigned to the category. Any pointers to help would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

i manually created the folder "MOBILE" and put my documents there and then it worked.

Please try it, try to create the "MOBILE" folder inside the category folder at CMC and push the WEBI documents into it and then try again.

HI,

Have you tried to redeploy the MobileBIService.war file.

This generally has to be done after any server upgrade patch, however it would be no harm in trying the same as well.

Stop tomcat

Rename MobileBIService folder as old

Copy the MobileBIService.war file from Mobile14 folder to webapps under tomcat

Restart Tomcat

Check the issue

Thanks for your responses! The issue was resolved by making some adjustments to the rights assigned to the group. Once the rights were set correctly, the reports were visible again. But still it is a mystery what caused the rights to change in the first place (which was not anyway impacted by new app install in iPad).

Thanks once again for taking time to respond with suggestions!
