Please Help Absence type is duplicated


Hello Everyone:

I am in the need of some help. I am trying to correct an issue that was previously done and I am at a is the issue

1. First we are on ECC 600....EA-HR 600 level 0022 Support pack SAPKGPHD22. We do not use the portal time entry (Web Service)

2. One of my colleagues wanted to add some new abscence types. When adding this person also deleted some instead of deactivating them.

3. I see in the table T554S in our QAS system - one each of an entry with deliminted dates. This all looks correct

4. When I go to the table V_T554S_ESSEX. I see duplicate entries, with deactivation with some of them

The colleague was only suppose to add two entries to the entries that were already there and deactivate two, but instead deleted the two line items that the end suers would not use anymore. When transported from the dev client to the quality client it came thru for the entries that were deleted as still there but the text did not show.

5. This was done in several places in the dev client, trying to get the right data to show in the Quality system for testing...the places were Time Management, Payroll, and Cross Application.

I am trying to now correct all this and have looked for OSS notes and also in the forum to findthe solution. I would appreciate any guidance that anyone can give to me to help straighten this out the correct way. I am not that familiar with the HR module.
